Another Fourth of July tradition in Eastern Iowa is the Iowa City Jazz Festival. Local musicians perform at this well-known event.

Here the Diplomats of Solid Sound perform. This is the same group that performed at Nate Kaeding's PAR-TEE.

Another local favorite is the Northwest Junior High Jazz Band.

Colin's cousin, Sophie plays Sax in the NW Jr. High Jazz Band

Sophie's Sister and Mom (Natalie and Amy) listen in while Sophie's Dad, and NW Jr. High Principal, Gregg lends a hand to the band set-up.

Food stnads of all kinds line the streets of downtown Iowa City.

Colin and Dad hang out while waiting for NW Jr. High Jazz Band to play.
