We are celebrating our one-year anniversary at the SportsFanEngy blog site. The idea started out last August as a way for readers to see inside a Big Ten football program and the role a Video Coordinator plays. That was accomplished by travelling around the Big Ten, Tampa's Outback Bowl and Indianapolis for the Big Ten Meeting. During the Summer we featured one on one interviews with members of the Iowa Football staff-those who may not be regularly be featured in the media-allowing fans a look to all of the different pieces of a football program.
The idea also started out as a way to follow the exciting life of a four-year old turn five-Colin, my son who I am a proud father of. With him there were trips around the country, celebrating different holidays and a successful T-Ball season.
The second year promises to be the same. Many of the same features will return. "Night Out on the Town," "Sitting in the Principal's Office," and college football weekly reviews will occur again in year 2. Pictures from behind the scenes and on the road is a staple of the web site and will return.
I'm looking for what you want to know. Is there something that you want more of? An idea that I haven't thought of? Put those in the comment box below. My goal is to avoid the sophomore jinx and need your help in doing so.
