A week after the Hawkeyes blocked two field goals to ensure victory over one in-state opponent, there was little doubt in deciding the winner of the annual rivalry with Iowa State. The Hawkeyes took a 14-3 halftime lead and added another 21 in the remaining 30 minutes for a 35-3 victory. Sophomore Tyler Sash had three interceptions while Freshman Brandon Wegher rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Next week the Hawkeyes host the Arizona Wildcats for a 2:30 ABC broadcast.
