4th of July - Iowa City Jazz Festival

Another Fourth of July tradition in Eastern Iowa is the Iowa City Jazz Festival. Local musicians perform at this well-known event.

Here the Diplomats of Solid Sound perform. This is the same group that performed at Nate Kaeding's PAR-TEE.

Another local favorite is the Northwest Junior High Jazz Band.

Food stnads of all kinds line the streets of downtown Iowa City.

Happy Easter

Colin celebrates Easter by going on an Easter Egg Hunt in Grandmommy's backyard. He searched alongside his cousins, Sophie and Natalie for eggs. He came out the winner. Below you will see other Easter day activities as Colin tests out his new jump rope he received from the Easter Bunny.

IC Eels

The Iowa State Club Swim Meet for ages thirteen and above is being held at the University of Iowa Field House Pool. My neice, Sophie Shoultz is shown in lane 6 (third from the top) swimming the 1000 Freestyle. Sophie finished fourth with events to come on Saturday and Sunday.
