A new week and new pairings to whittle down to the best rivalry trophy in the Big Ten. Last week the #1 seeds of each bracket advanced. Floyd of Rosedale took down the Old Brass Spittoon while Iowa's other trophy, the Heartland was beat by Paul Bunyan's Axe. This week the brackets are as follows:
- Little Brown Jug (Minnesota & Michigan) vs Sweet Sioux Tomahawk (Northwestern & Illinois).
- Old Oaken Bucket (Purdue & Indiana) vs Paul Bunyan's Trophy (Michigan & Michigan State).
